Lynda Martinez del Campo is a cultural historian, university professor, professional speaker, and tour guide. An advocate of lifelong learning, she has dedicated much of her life to teaching in one form or another.
Particularly interested in fostering international understanding, she branched out from the walls of academia to focus on the international tourist market, sharing her fascination of everything Mexico – its language, its history, and its rich traditions – with visitors and residents alike.
In her role as a promoter of cultural understanding, she is best at bringing Mexico’s identity to life through its museums, monuments, archaeological zones and markets providing an in-depth explanation of Mexico’s history and rich, complex culture, covering topics as broad as anthropology, viceregal art, virtual tours and different facets of popular culture.
As an accomplished communicator, she switched channels during lockdown mode to share her love of Mexico via Zoom presentations. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences.
